Knowing where to go for information about your genetic health can be challenging, the GSNV is making this easier.

We believe in everyone’s right to flourish – and access to information is a key component.

The Genetic Support Network of Victoria empowers people with genetic conditions and those who support them to make informed and important decisions about life and health through support, advocacy and education.

The general community and those impacted by genetic conditions have access to a lot of information regarding genetics, genomics and community and support services, through the internet. However it can be challenging to navigate the multiple websites that house these tools and resources and secondly and most importantly it can be very difficult to distinguishing whether the information provided is useful, and reliable.

That’s why the GSNV has developed The Genetic Link, an online library which houses a wide selection of resources for people impacted genetic conditions, and those who support them – support groups, carers, health professionals and the general community. We’ve curated a reliable and credible resource bank to support you.

The links on this website will undergo a yearly review.
